Engineering Analyst Java - AVP Hybrid

Spring by Citi is looking to hire an experienced Engineer Analyst to support the next generation of payment solution for eCommerce. The Engineer Analyst will be working with stakeholders to identify and translate the technical requirements, coordinate, and validate various engineering activities.

The Engineer Sr Analyst plays an important role in ensuring quality standards are met for all technical deliverables. This includes ensuring that the product is proper documented and meets the requirements in term of reliability, and issues are analyzed and addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to identify and define technical requirements

• Support the design, assembly, and configuration of technical components

• Draft non-functional specifications

• Ensure technical documentation are drafted and maintained for traceability and audits

• Coordinate and validate technical tests, connections with the internal/external applications

• Partner with the testing teams to ensure applications are fully functional and meets the performance, security and resilience requirements

• Coordinate and validate operational acceptance testing

• Provide support to identify the root cause of issues and react in a timely manner

• Oversee and provide support to fix technical defects

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to functional and production support teams

• Exhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles

• Provide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives

• Adhere to project management processes through all phases of the project life cycle, by providing regular updates on technical activities progress.

• Support overall deployment plan including adherences with partners solutions

• Ensure maintenance activities are in line with business requirements

Qualifications:

• Should have at least 5 years in an engineering role

• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment

• Significant experience as a software engineer using, Spring Boot, Java, Microservices, JSON, API's technologies.

• Experience using MongoDB, Kafka, Apache, JMeter, Postman

• Experience in systems analysis

• Previous exposure to connectivity, distributed systems, and databases

• Ability to test software applications from both front and back-end perspectives

• Experience with Agile project management, Jira, and Confluence

• Ability to create and maintain good relationships at all levels within the organization

• Proven interpersonal, diplomatic, prioritization and effective communication skills

• Tenacity, Proactive, Creative and Good listening skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree in computer science
