Leadership role in the design and implementation of both tactical and strategic remediation plans to reduce manual processes and adjustments Responsible for identification, inventory, and analysis of adjustments and related processes and systems. Develop root cause analysis, recommendations and actions to fix root cause at source. Requires coordination with multiple business and product processor owners, Finance and Technology teams. Identify and lead digital transformation and automation opportunities. Define an ongoing accountability framework for a sustainable governance and control process Lead the team to deliver results and influence change effectively across geographic and functional areas and levels. Manage multiple priorities, plans and tasks and work with geographically diverse resources. Responsible for managing the daily project plans and key milestones. Resolve, and/or escalate potential issues identified in working group sessions. Active leadership in working group sessions, planning and various reviews sessions to identify and facilitate remediation of detailed action plans and commitments to Consent Order targets. Lead cross-functional working groups to drive consensus and resolution for agreed actions and targets Responsible for reviewing updated project plans and key milestones related to project completion. Lead team of internal and external subject matter experts and business analysts. Ensure the project plans and action items are up to date and published to stakeholders. Responsible for leading the analysis of data lineage process flows, and for updating operational procedures and control documentation. Maintain constant dialog with Adjustment Reduction program leaders and sponsor to highlight issues with the overall Consent Order action plans. Be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive approach to adjustment root cause analysis and remediation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • Strong background in one or more of Finance disciplines or areas of Data Services and Technology preferred.

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field in the Financial Services industry is required.

  • Process reengineering and change management with program/project management or PMO experience in using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects.

  • Proven skills in leadership, strategic planning, project management and organizational structure.

  • Clear and concise communication (written, verbal) skills Strong analytical skills, acting as an expert or advisor on Accounting and Close and Reporting matters.

  • Previous Management experience required (Management of global teams, desired)

  • Ability to identify problems and take appropriate actions to resolve issues. Global awareness and global business orientation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

  • CA, CPA, ACA, or CFA certifications a plus.
