About this Role

The Data Risk & Controls Program Management Lead will be responsible for assisting with the management of the program visibility, coordination, tracking and action planning of the data quality related regulatory and management control initiatives across PBWM.  This is a global role that will report to the Senior Program and Communications Manager and will work with various leaders and their teams across PBWM LOBs, Regions and the second and third lines of defense (i.e., Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operational Risk, Credit Risk).


  • Assist with the creation of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly Data Risk & Controls related meeting material, including tracking and coordination of multiple inputs from various sources.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of executive level scorecard metrics and progress updates
  • Prepare communications delivered to a variety of stakeholders and team members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Businesses, Technology, Chief Data Office, Operation Risk Management, Internal Audit and other related stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Builds consensus by working across lines of business, geography, departments, or functions
  • Communicates with senior executives and non-officers and be able to smoothly transition between the two communication styles
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities related to the running of the PBWM Data Risk & Controls Program
  • Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.

Job Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related work experience. MBA and/or Regulatory experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience required.
  • 5+ years of financial services experience preferred.
  • Strong communication (written and oral), reporting and presentation skills.
  • Enjoys juggling multiple priorities often with competing priorities
  • Adapts well to change and ambiguity
  • Enjoys highly complex projects, with large amount of minutia. Can absorb the granular details and communicate it at an executive level.
  • Ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas and have fundamental understanding of data.
  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint as a messaging tool.
  • Strong Excel skills
