Responsibilities

Chief Administrative Office (CAO) plays a critical role in leading Citi’s Transformation initiatives, which represent the bank’s top priorities globally at an enterprise-wide level. This includes Citi’s Data Governance Plan, which is being developed to bring the bank forward to per the direction set in Citi’s Enterprise Data Strategy. The CAO, in partnership with the Enterprise Chief Data Office, will be focused on delivering against the commitments outlined in the Data Governance Plan including a governance framework, as well as a number of foundational data capabilities. 

The Data Transformation Business Analyst will ensure that required project and program documentation is completed on time, accurately, and in-line with Citi PMO procedures. This role will ensure that all relevant project/program documentation, status reports, and project management tools are completed timely to meet committed deadlines. Where concerns/risks are identified, they will ensure these items are escalated in time for corrective action to the taken. This role will focus on creating and/or driving delivery of artifacts and maintaining the artifacts in SharePoint or Teams for efficient retrieval. In addition to the management of artifacts for multiple programs, the candidate will work to become an expert on the RBCM Alignment and Closure process and the IA Validation process and will be responsible for the creation of the documentation required for each process. Key responsibilities will include:

Overall Project/Program Deliverable management:

  • Understand the key business deliverables required for each Project/Program and the associated dependencies on other teams/programs to ensure deliverables are met
  • Ensure detailed documentation and artifacts are in place and available to evidence completion of program milestones, deliverables, and tasks; artifacts will be made available to internal audit and to regulators as needed to evidence successful completion of the programs
  • Address potential barriers to timely execution before they impact critical path delivery. Ensure proactive management of deliverables such that issues/risks are escalated promptly in order to allow for timely remediation and delivery of the project/program as scheduled
  • Ensure clear and transparent reporting of project/program status to Program Sponsors, the ECDO, the Data Program Lead, and the Transformation Program Office

General Project Activities:

  • Partner with program/project teams and functional groups (Front-office, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology, Learning & Development, Human Resources) to drive execution of requirements, training, and ensuring compliance with Citi standards
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including program sponsors, program leads, FCDOs, Internal Audit, and Data Program Central Team
  • Execute effectively against multiple contending priorities simultaneously
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to centrally organize and inventory all project/program artifacts necessary for successful completion of Alignment and Closure and IA Validation processes
  • Leverage superior writing skills to document processes, assist with the creation of standards and policies as needed, develop PowerPoint materials with clear messaging, draft and distribute meeting minutes, document program/project charters, complete program status reports, and communicate to partners as a representative of the program team
  • Guarantee compliance with the PM standard procedures and with all applicable tools used for program and project management
  • Where required develop program reporting structure (cadence, system setup, issue/risk tracking and escalation, scorecard/metrics)
  • Act as part of the team to support project and program activity, governance, and reporting.
  • Leverage SharePoint and/or Teams to centralize program/project documentation to drive team efficiency and collaboration

Qualifications:

  • Consulting, Business Analysis, or Project/Program Delivery experience in the financial services industry is required, including 7+ years of Project/Program Support
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills required, ability to synthesize key messages
  • Expert level experience required with PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Experience with MS Project and MS Teams preferred
  • Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management preferred
  • Good influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to "roll up sleeves"
  • Need for ‘intellectual curiosity’, critical thinking skills and ability to raise difficult questions
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential as demonstrable delivery skills are the most critical qualification for this role
  • General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions (e.g., BCBS 239, Heightened Standards, Regulation YY)
  • Experience working with Internal or External auditors preferred
  • Process reengineering and process mapping experience preferred, along with a proven track record of successfully leading large, complex, and transformative projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests
  • Ability to see the "big picture" while thriving with activities requiring close attention to detail
  • The candidate must be able to work with teams as well as independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This role requires multi-tasking, organization, and the ability to quickly acquire, comprehend, and document information obtained through investigation and partnering.
