Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Develop software solutions and review business requirements. Architect, conduct proof of concept, document and present findings for peer and management review based on the skill of technical documentation. Create a work breakdown structure for actions items using skills including computer algorithm and object-oriented programming to understand and agree during solution review and lead development, build setup, testing and integration of agreed solution. Design, develop and maintain ETL code using Ab initio software. Support the application and work on stability related enhancement tasks to maintain application health. Update the application by executing technology mandatory tasks and engineering best practices to mitigate risks. Conduct POC with latest offerings from enterprise software including Ab initio, Talend, and determine the application of the same in current infrastructure to benefit from latest upgrades. Review current architecture and provide suggestions to improve the same based on changing data trends, jobs and requirements. Manage escalations relating to production and non-productions issues reported by XMC and EMC users and Level 1 and 2 support personnel. Support and facilitate audit and compliance requirements. Support and extend monitoring solutions for XMC and EMC technical components.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Applied Mathematics, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Applications Developer, Data Engineering Specialist, AB-Initio Developer, Assistant Consultant or related position involving Ab Initio and ETL standards and architecture.  Full span of experience must include: Ab Initio, Teradata, Hadoop; Spark, Python, BitBucket, JIRA; Oracle; BI, Datawarehouse; AWS, Unix, Autosys; and Talend. 1 year of experience must include: Sybase.
