TTS Liquidity Management Services Product Manager
Taiwan Liquidity Management Services team is seeking a talented, imaginative, and experienced individual who is passionate about providing best-in-class product solutions and experiences for our clients.
The Mkt Segments & Svcs Specialist is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Product strategy and product management for key capabilities, as well as development of new capabilities and solutions based on market demand
P&L Management (reporting and analyzing financials to ensure goals are being met)
Assembles a holistic picture of where the product is currently, how clients view it, how it compares to competition, and where it needs to go in the future
Drives action across the organization in order to achieve goals
Ensures a BAU operational model is in place
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Understand the pain points being faced by our clients in their liquidity management solutions and the existing tactical requests being worked upon to remedy these
Understand how we can leverage Citi’s global LMS product capabilities to create solutions for local Clients via quick on-boarding and deployment
Understand/evolve our thinking on how to keep offering leading liquidity management capabilities in the Open Banking world
Work in close partnership with Asia LMS Product, Risk Treasury, TTS Sales, Coverage teams to set clear objectives and deliverables across stake-holders and track these to completion
Work in conjunction with Operations & Technology, to on-board and deploy system enhancements and various solutions with partners
Design and manage product communications including external and internal feature announcements, reference materials, and adoption campaigns, in partnership with marketing & region.
Conduct ongoing Balance Sheet optimization with disciplined pricing management and ongoing communication with partners in coverage teams.
Support Taiwan TTS Business Management on annual MYF/ Plan process, daily and monthly business tracking, and constructing regular & ad hoc business review decks with strategical thinking.
Assume additional responsibility as a Lead for Business Strategy Initiatives by ensuring timely delivery of the initiatives by respective business line.
Design and present Business Strategy talking points in a creative ways to make it relevant and ease of understanding.
Learn Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions business by working with product and sales teams across the organization.
Exposure to regional and local business processes; Develop strong working relationships with Finance, regional TTS, and Taiwan BCMA/CCB team members
Fine tune Product Management skills, including in-depth understanding of business flows across various systems.
Develop an ability to manage large projects with multiple stake-holders across a complex organization.
Further skills in business & product strategy, and in program execution.
Exposure to senior leadership in TTS
5-8 years of experience
Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify and resolve problems
Strategy oriented with ability to multi-task
Desire to drive projects from ideation or assignment to execution
Appetite for challenging assignments
Team player with ability to evidence leadership and build consensus while working within a matrix organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to respond quickly and creatively to complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work
Excellent project manager, a self-starter with attention to detail and highly organized
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong quantitative and presentation skills.
Advanced analytical skills including the ability and sensitivity to analyze financial reports.
Proficient in various spreadsheet and word processing applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including the use of graphs and charts.
Bachelor's degree; 2+ years of work experience in Product Management, Market Management or Sales
