The GSG RM is a client-facing coverage banker role responsible for providing MNC clients advisory and services in corporate banking business.
Expand a portfolio of accounts with varying/complex treasury and banking solution needs with the objective of revenue growth.
Manage client’s credit facility extension, documentation & negotiation, and local credit approvals based on parent relationship team’s approval/consent, in line with Citi’s credit standards, risk policies and processes. Responsible for all credit aspects of the relationship including annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial management.
Identify customer needs and recommend solutions to address these needs, such as financing, streamlining of cash management, foreign currency solutions, and etc.
Cross-sell banking products, including cash management, trade finance and services, structured trade products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income, loans and capital market products.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviors, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
5-8 years of experience in related banking roles
Master degree in Finance/Business preferred
Experience in covering large multinational corporate clients as relationship manager or treasury sales is preferred
Comprehensive knowledge in banking products, including cash management, trade services and finance, foreign exchange, and etc.
Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking business including related products, pertinent regulations, and the lending and credit approval process
Communication in both English and Mandarin Chinese Required. Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin Chinese
Proven analytical, planning, negotiation, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
