The Merchant Analyst is responsible for follow up merchant business strategies and coordination with the RM team and Operation team. The overall objective of this role is to mange the Merchant related project and task to comply with new regulation and Citi policy.


  • Help to confirm the requirements and conduct process readiness evaluations during testing phases to ensure merchant control quality.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams designed to resolve business issues related to technology projects with significant business impact
  • Participate in technology projects for Merchant process enhancements and minor customizations
  • Serve as point of contact on Merchant projects and influence decisions through advice, counsel, and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • Relevant merchant experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to a function
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated project management skills


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsible for manage Merchant application and periodic controls to ensure Merchant related process implement on schedule and quality as biz and regulatory expectation.
