The Branch Manager is a senior-level management position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees and growing sales and client base in coordination with the Consumer Sales team. The overall objective of this role is to lead a team, grow sales, build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives. Responsibilities may also include the management of activities by external organizations and the direct management of individuals and sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the execution of the commercial strategy, accomplish sales and service goals assigned to the branch and oversee the control and follow up of all procedures according to the regional operation model
  • Oversee managerial responsibilities such as daily task management, call and email queue monitoring, performance feedback, training, coaching, and ensuring timely processing and resolution of cases, carrying out and coordinating retention tasks when necessary
  • Oversee implementation of process improvements and efficiencies to mitigate risk and improve productivity, client experience and team morale
  • Maintain relationships with key clients, business partners and stakeholders and coordinate team sessions with sales executives
  • Review and approve account openings, negotiate interest rates, authorize occasional overdrafts and plan, organize, manage and control human resources, technological and supply needs
  • Manage activities related with the KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance policy and Anti-money Laundering policies
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance or similar field
  • Experience in product management, procedures, and regulations
  • Experience in management/coaching, including training and motivating others
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including mentoring, strategic planning, presentation, negotiation and delegation skills
  • Proven ability to provide feedback and multitask
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with focus on relationship- and team- building and collaboration
  • Proven work ethic, self-motivation and efficient working attitude with a passion for innovation

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
