Accountabilities

  • Delivery Services - Process and Change Management

  • Acts as a liaison between internal departments, (namely product, technology, and consumer operation teams) and the Delivery Services vendors.
  • Consult with functional unit management to assist with documentation and analysis of current and future state business processes.
  • Maintaining the letter inventory up to date
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes. This will include conducting process re-engineering with stakeholders, analysing feasibility, documenting proposals, and implementation of changes.
  • Tracks and fully document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
  • Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and document business rules, functions, and requirements.
  • Provide direction and subject matter expertise on changes to processes resulting from new business initiatives, regulatory or compliance required changes. Engage relevant stakeholders involved in the execution or oversight of processes to ensure changes are successfully implemented and appropriately documented
  • Manage and resolve exception matters escalated by processing areas, consistent with Citi policy and in keeping with the desired customer experience.
  • Provides regular status updates on the changes (upcoming/currently under implementation)
  • Ensure any changes have relevant documentation and approvals in place as per change management framework
  • Ensure the business unit and on/offshore vendors adhere to policies and procedures, contractual obligation, regulatory and legislative requirements. Ensure complete and accurate documentation is always maintained.
  • Manage accurate reporting of operational metrics and business drivers.

  • Delivery Services -Project Management

  • Act as an SME for relevant projects relating to Delivery Services.
  • Write requirement documentation and review functional specifications for projects/requirements
  • Creation and execution of test cases for new projects, regression as well as agile releases
  • Defect management and co-ordination
  • Updating and reviewing procedure documentation to ensure relevant changes are captured
  • Release related activities to support all the business units

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of process re-engineering (preferably using Lean/Six Sigma methodology or similar)
  • Analytical skills and experience

Personal Attributes / Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent communication abilities - both written and verbal as the role involves significant interaction with stakeholders and detailed documentation
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent skills in personal work organisation and time management.
  • Good documentation skills
  • Knowledge of banking and change management systems is preferable
  • Knowledge of working within an Agile environment is preferable
  • Ability to analyse and communicate problems in clear and concise manner
  • Ability to step into problems; analyse and implement solutions quickly. 
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of compliance & control standards
  • Ability to work in fast paced and highly dynamic environment.

Citi has entered into an agreement with NAB to acquire its consumer bank in Australia which includes residential mortgages, deposits, and unsecured lending.

The sale is expected to complete in March 2022. As this is a role to work in Citi’s consumer bank, the successful candidate will initially be employed by Citi, but on sale completion, their employment will transfer to a NAB (or) a new entity that will employ Citi’s consumer bank employees, prior to their transfer to NAB.
