Responsibilities
Within the Australia Country technology team - Manage the Consumer Bank’s technical releases on behalf of Australia by collaborating with diverse and disparate groups - business users, testing teams, technology groups and suppliers.
This role is responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure our Technical Releases are implemented successfully and that Projects within the Release deliver the benefits that our business have specified and agreed to.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Monthly and Quarterly releases for AU and work to ensure successful release implementations
Work with Tech/Testing teams(GCT/UTT), AU business, vendors and partners on Release planning & execution
Manage AU UAT for testing metrics and reporting as well as defect reviews and the UAT Exit process
Effectively manage AU Biz to ensure release calendar Milestones are met
Co-ordinate Local Interface testing with Biz for vendors
Co-ordinate UAT sign off with AU Working Committee
Identify , manage and communicate Release Risks and Issues for AU
Monitor/Track entitlement & parameter approach and ensure it is actioned by AU Biz
Manage all follow ups/Escalations to various Tech and Release teams on behalf of AU - UTT,PMO,GDLM,CTI, Build, L3 teams
Represent the AU business at regional Oversight, Testing and Cutover meetings
Initiate, Manage and co-ordinate Implementation and Cutover activities for minor and major releases with AU Biz etc.
Ensure relevant GC Release information is communicated timely and disseminated to AU Biz
Attend a weekly scrum with AU Biz for release management to provide status updates and escalations
Chair Weekly Working Committee Meeting and Publish Minutes
Maintain the Release Jira site
SPOC for Batch scheduling/change
Collate Release PIR doc & RCA Doc
Qualifications:
5-8 years of relevant Banking/IT experience. Preferably in Consumer Banking
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
Ideally has experience and an understanding of Managing Technical Releases for Consumer Banking Applications
Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
Experience using JIRA, Confluence and HP ALM(Quality Center)
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Citi has entered into an agreement with NAB to acquire its consumer bank in Australia which includes residential mortgages, deposits, and unsecured lending.
The sale is expected to complete in June 2022. As this is a role to work in Citi’s consumer bank, the successful candidate will initially be employed by Citi, but on sale completion, their employment will transfer to a NAB (or) a new entity that will employ Citi’s consumer bank employees, prior to their transfer to NAB.
