Product Owner Open Banking (Digital Banking)

Locations: Sydney, New South Wales Job Function: Product Management and Development Employee Status: Regular Job ID: 19142858

This is brand new role focusing on Product Strategy for APIs across Citi and White label brands in partnership with key stakeholders and Technology teams. You will manage implementation of APIs with business rules support and documentation as necessary. In addition, you will provide technology teams business and experience requirements to meet local customer and partner expectation.

Responsibilities


API Strategy and Roadmap
•    Perform competitive Analysis to identify gaps in our current product offering 
•    Identify new opportunities leveraging Citi APIs or Third Party APIs 
•    Align technology and partner development road maps
•    Work closely with the Regional Digital team for prioritization and implementation of Australia roadmap through the Consumption Model/ Development.
Project Management Support
•    Work with project manager in Central Delivery team to ensure project timelines are met
•    Extensive stakeholder engagement including senior management.
Partner Management
•    Support partners with their current channels and functionality
•    Engage and support partner through Citi initiated changes in API architecture and functionality
Open Banking
•    As the lead for Open Banking support the Digital Banking Head in development for Open Banking (Customer Data Right) Strategy
•    Engage with banks, other financial institutions, service providers on best practices, strategies etc
•    Work with internal stakeholders to develop and deploy use cases
Production Support
•    Ensure timely resolution of all API related production issues. 
•    Own and raise Business Incidents for issues related to API/ digital channel
•    Escalate if required all high priority issues to get necessary focus and timely resolution. 

Experience required


•    5-8 years of work experience in leading Digital projects;
•    Excellent communication skills for interaction with project teams, business owners, senior management both internal and external; 
•    Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.
•    Deep understanding of API, Citi technology stack and Open Banking framework
•    Ability to work with Citi and partner product/ technology teams with expertise in requirement gathering
•    Must work independently and with minimal supervision;
•    Have a proven track record in delivering solutions on time and within estimates;
•    Lateral thinker who demonstrates drive and commitment to delivering innovative solutions
•    Strong interpersonal, problem solving and influencing skills
•    Customer-centric
•    Adaptable, resilient and flexible
•    Energetic and highly motivated
•    Strive for continuous self-development and results oriented
