Product Manager - Partnerships

The Product Manager for Retail Partnership will be responsible for supporting the overall management of a significant partnership relationship. Key responsibilities include executing key product programs to drive customer and revenue growth through the relationship across acquisition, portfolio and retention activities.  In addition to being a partner facing team, the role will support strategic initiatives to improve customer experience whilst meeting banking standards, working closely with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a strong relationship and work jointly with partner product and marketing teams to ensure delivery of (both financial and non-financial) program goals
  • Support Senior Commercial Manager in managing various governance meetings with partner which involves delivering the content and insights on portfolio health leading indicators
  • Work in partnership with the cards portfolio team to drive client engagement programs and build receivables
  • Work with cards sales and acquisition team on acquisition offer conception and approval to ensure a sustainable portfolio growth in a optimal control environment
  • Influence partners and key stakeholders for an optimal commercial outcome on day to day activities and operations, e.g. marketing offers, vendor management and product deliverables
  • Work with partner marketing teams to ensure all marketing collateral is approved by Citi as per agreed timelines


  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing
  • 2-3 year of Credit Card Product Management experience
  • Experience in managing partners relationship
  • Understanding of credit card portfolio driver and its relationship to P&L
  • Knowledge of the cards & payments industry
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with prior experience in managing relationship with external partners
  • Demonstrate understanding of customer journey and ability to problem solve within the business and compliance context
  • Ability to identify opportunities and influence stakeholders in order to improve business performance and partner relationship
