Product Manager (12 months FTC)
Strategic Intent
The Product Manager, Investments will lead the technical Product Management Team and have end-to-end ownership of the full suite of Investment Products, including run down of existing structured product set, integration into NAB framework and governance of all remaining products.
The incumbent will be responsible for the end-to-end life cycle for Investments, including the competitiveness and financial performance of all Investment products. They will achieve this by working with key stakeholders across the business develop a detailed product roadmap, ensure product obligations are met, customers are satisfied, gain buy-in to execute on the roadmap and manage the change process through to the end client.
The Senior Product Manager, Investments will also be an enabler and driver of the business’s migration of all wealth existing data and technology into the NAB wealth platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure business procedures are carried out consistent with the product obligations
Development of the overall product strategy for Investment Products, ensuring that the business has the right strategies in place to achieve revenue targets
Effective product life cycle management, managing the overall product profitability and competitiveness; continuously evaluating and optimizing profitability drivers and seeking opportunities to enhance processes, product design, service proposition and profitability
Plan and make decision on data migration of all wealth products and services from Citi to NAB
Modify product management processes and frameworks to align with existing NAB policy and procedure framework
Work with Segments, Marketing and Distribution to ensure the product proposition supports customer segmentation strategies and is achieving the desired customer satisfaction outcomes (with NPS as our ‘true north’)
Build and shape key relationships with stakeholders and business partners, both internally and externally, to ensure alignment and support the desired business outcomes
Lead and develop the technical Product Management team, ensuring development plans are in place, performance expectations are clearly understood and team members are fully engaged
Key Requirements
Undergraduate degree-Postgraduate/MBA (strongly preferred)
RG146 qualified (CFA or additional qualifications preferred but not essential)
7+ years in Wealth Management (ideally within Product Management/Development, equities, fixed income and derivatives (Structured Products)
Strong knowledge of investment products and asset classes
Demonstrated solid people management experience
Strategic mindset with excellent problem solving skills
Highly motivated and results driven
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Good understanding of industry legislative and compliance regime

Please note that Citi has entered into an agreement with NAB to acquire its consumer bank in Australia which includes residential mortgages, deposits, and unsecured lending.
The sale is expected to complete in May 2022.
As this is a role to work in Citi’s consumer bank, the successful candidate will be employed and onboarded by NAB, the new entity that will employ Citi’s consumer bank employees.
