Drive and deliver on profitable growth in the Mortgage business while improving customer outcomes..
Key player in the Home Loan Transformation program of work who will execute on tactical and strategic initiatives, as one of the product Subject Matter Experts to deliver superior staff and customer service
Work on initiatives to scale the business with particular focus on digital and process improvements.
Manage and execute ongoing product management tasks such as pricing, customer complaints,
Maintain an inventory of customer communications, and suggest/implement improvements in this space.
Support the team with Key Performance Indicator analyses as and when needed.
Develop strong relationships and manage interactions with key stakeholders to influence responsible business outcomes without direct authority
Work with Regional Product teams, with a view of leveraging on best practice from elsewhere as well as actively engaging with Regional stakeholders for positive outcomes
Experienced within Financial Services preferably within the Consumer/Retail Banking environment (ideally the mortgages market)
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate agility when faced with conflicting priorities/objectives of business and cross-department networks
Analysis and Decision Making – Identify/understand issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions. Make decisions based on cost benefit analysis and an understanding of B/S, P&L and resource impact
Business Focus – Demonstrate understanding of the business and its customers. Consistently look for opportunities to improve expense management and business performance
Build effective working relationships – Develop strong cross department/divisional networks, use collaborative relationships to facilitate and influence the accomplishment of business goals
Communicates Effectively – Communicate clearly and concisely, with impact and credibility using appropriate language, style and terminology
Negotiating- comfortable dealing with external parties, articulating the need and evaluating and negotiating on possible solutions.
Leads change and Innovation – Act as a champion and role model for innovation and change
Operational Execution – Stay up to date with key business drivers. Be personally accountable for own performance and act with a sense of urgency to address issues and take advantage of opportunities

Frequent interaction with (and need to influence) internal stakeholders including as Sales, Credit Risk, Operational and Delivery Units
Qualifications – External:
At least 5 years experience in Financial Services industry with experience in Retail Banking preferable
