Finance Solutions & Controls Analyst (9 month FTC)

Locations: Sydney, New South Wales Job Function: Finance Employee Status: Regular Job ID: 20211692

Finance Solutions & Controls Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for (a) managing Controls and Compliance activities across AU/NZ Finance (with a focus on Controllers) and (b) supporting key Finance Transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of Audit activities
  • Facilitating key Controls and Compliance activities for Controller and other Finance departments, including:
  • Risk Management Committee (RMC)
  • End User Computing (EUC)
  • MCA (Manager’s Control Assessment)
  • eDCFC (Electronic Digital Control Function Checklist)
  • Records Management
  • Regulatory Inventory Mapping (RIM) Project etc
  • Manage Consumer GST Calculator system mapping, maintenance and trouble-shooting, in conjunction with APS Allocations.
  • Support monthly data processing for Local Reg Reporting  ( International Exposures (IE) and Economic & Financial Statistics (EFS) )
  • Support adhoc projects including:
  • Full Suite Bank & CGM
  • Corporate GST Calculator Re-Engineering
  • TM1 Upgrades etc

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of previous experience required in banking / finance

  • Advanced Excel & MS Office skills required

  • Experience with database development (e.g. MS Access) preferred

  • Experience with audit, compliance & project activities preferred

  • Demonstrates good business acumen and ability to communicate with both junior and senior stakeholders

  • Proven ability to learn-on-the-fly and problem solve

  • Demonstrates initiative and leadership

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Accounting qualifications preferred
