Citi Diners Club Business Development Officer

Working in an environment with the desire and resource for innovation – a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a National Business Development Manager to join the team to focus on acquiring new-to-bank customers for Diners Club to deliver strategic new business growth in the commercial payments sector.

If you recognise the challenger in you, and you’re ready to use your Sales experience and business acumen to lead the growth in commercial payments, then you’ll be backed by an innovative team and a collaborative environment as a National Business Development Manager for Diners Club Australia.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and manage sales pipeline
  • Develop tailored solutions that leverage Diners Club’s unique dual-scheme offer, demonstrate value and not only meet, but exceed our prospects’ needs
  • Develop and foster strategic relationships with industry partners and third party suppliers to maximise business opportunities for both parties and deliver enhanced value propositions
  • Work with internal stakeholders to implement new deals in a timeframe and manner that exceeds our clients’ expectations
  • Reporting to the National Head of Sales – Commercial Payments, you will be integral to the success this driven, dynamic, high-performing sales team  

Key Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial payments
  • Extensive experience in corporate business development with C-suite decision-makers
  • Proven track record of success in a sales role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven problem solving abilities and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand financial business drivers and technology needs
  • Bachelor’s degree
