AVP, Acquisition Strategy Manager

The Sales and Acquisition team encompass the Customer Journey Management for Cards, Loans Acquisition and Partner Management for White Label Consumer Cards. The team is responsible for overall acquisition growth which both is sustainable and profitable.

This role is responsible for the development, thought leadership and strategy development for White Label Cards and Loans acquisition, optimising product and pricing mix, to achieve both new account and specific early profitability targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the product team and white label partner to maximise New Account Growth across products.
  • Develop overall acquisition strategy to optimise acquisition focusing on product mix and acquisition promotional pricing.
  • Ensure target AR%, turn around times and Cancelations are met for all products and partners.
  • Ensure Risk ABC% segment requirements are met. 
  • Monitor acquisition and business MIS to determine specific areas for improvement across all key metrics (approval rate, processing time, activation, usage, ANR and revenue).
  • Optimise Early Engagement (3MOB) Metrics including Activation, BT, EPP, Spend and early Attrition through offer pricing.
  • Ensure all acquisition offers meet profit models corporate hurdles.
  • Deliver relevant positioning, product and pricing combinations to maximise acquisition, activation and utilization.
  • Drive initiatives to expand the eligible universe of prospects.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the market, competitor activity and relevant product and consumer trends.
  • Take responsibility for resolving issues and improving the customer onboarding experience
  • New distribution Partnership development

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience, financial services preferred
  • Proven stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in a global organisation highly regarded
  • Understanding of a Cards P&L
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of the Cards & Payments industry
  • Strong Product, Project and Time management skills
  • Business or Marketing degree preferred
