The Project Senior Lead is part of the Network Distribution team and is responsible for ensuring that the appearance of the branch enhances the overall customer experience.  Project Senior Leads oversee the Branch Refresh, Branch Renovations, Branch Appearance and ADA Readily Moveable Object Inspection programs.  Collaboration with key partner groups is critical to ensure the branch is well maintained, that branch projects are completed on-time and on-budget, and that appearance standards are met and maintained.  In conjunction with the Network Strategy team, this individual is also responsible for creating a Master Market Plan that optimizes the regional distribution network, as well as analyzing potential denovo, relocation, renovation and refresh sites and collaborating with key partner groups to ensure successful projects and (re)openings.  This position will provide direct support to the Division Manager for California/Nevada.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execution of all branch projects including relocations, renovations and refresh programs; identify and prioritize branches within strategy
  • Collaborate with key partners (Division Manager, Area Directors, Branch Transformation, Citi Realty Services (CRS) and Technology) to identify project scope
  • Ensure execution of all projects are completed with minimal changes to original scope
  • Monitor all phases of relocation, renovation and refresh projects; escalate issues impacting branch personnel or putting the project at risk for an on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Serve as primary point of contact for branch personnel during branch projects
  • In partnership with the Network Strategy team, continuously update Master Market Plan for Southern California which optimizes the network and provides a distribution action recommendation for each branch
  • Ensure that distribution actions align with corporate strategy
  • Collaborate with CRS and Network Strategy team to identify new branch (DeNovo and Relocation) sites
  • Execution of branch appearance and ADA inspection programs; influence branch personnel to adhere to standards
  • Partner with CRS to ensure branch related issues are resolved quickly and cost-effectively

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years in total; 5+ years specifically in planning and project management experience
  • 4-year college degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Presentation and interaction experience with senior executives
  • Detailed working knowledge of branch functions and banking operations
  • Detailed knowledge of Southern California markets
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large, complex projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong presentations skills; ability to cater presentation content and style to audience, including senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others to gain buy-in without positional authority
  • Strong background in construction and facilities management projects
