The Finance Acctg Lead Analyst accomplishes results through the management of professional team. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires strong risk & control experience, ability to assess design of control and work with stakeholders to address control deficiencies. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. This role will have oversight of the Personal Banking and Wealth Management (PBWM) Statement of Accountability (SOA) and Disclosure processes and execute various control activities to support assertions related to internal controls over financial reporting.  Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area.  Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Focuses on executing due diligence activities related to SOA and Disclosure; ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
  • Responsibilities include documenting due diligence activities and working with various stakeholders to address deficiencies. 
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to prepare them for the Disclosure Meeting and ensure appropriate documentation and due diligence activities have been performed to support attestations. 
  • Continuous improvement on due diligence activities. 
  • Responsible for managing Continuity of Business (COB) plans for this entity.
  • Integrates expertise and industry expertise within a defined area.
  • Assist with Sox Coordination duties for CBNA
  • Create/Edit high level process flows for PBWM and CBNA Sox RCMs
  • Advises on SOC1 reviews in a Sox Coordinator capacity
  • Advises on standards around which others will operate.
  • Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function.
  • Coordinates and contributes to the objectives of the entire function.
  • Uses communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others, in particular colleagues in other areas to implement and/or modify controls.
  • Manages a small team, or function as a single incumbent with management responsibilities for a function.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

We are currently working on a hybrid schedule consisting of 2-3 days in office and the remainder remote (specific details depend on location and business group). This is not a remote only role.

Salary Ranges for multiple locations:

Sioux Falls, SD: $94,150k - $141,230k

O'Fallon, MO: $103,570k - $155,360k

Tampa, FL: $100,430k - $150,650k
