Cyber Security Operations Lead Analyst, Cyber Engagement Team
The Cyber Security Operations Lead Analyst is a senior level professional responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy. The role will represent Cyber Engagements in Citi’s Singapore Fusion Center, liaising with other teams in the CISO organization, meeting with high value Citi clients on cyber security issues, helping to manage the Fusion Center technology, and writing analytical reports on ongoing cyber threat activity. This role can be tasked with a wide array of assignments within the Cyber Security Operations framework. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze regional threat data and determine a correlation if any, to existing intelligence requirements
- Monitor and research cyber threats with a direct or indirect impact to the Citi brand
- Represent the Cyber Engagement team in Citi’s Singapore Fusion Center
- Work closely with team members in the New York Fusion Center
- Write daily and ad-hoc situational awareness reports on cyber security. Both pertaining to events involving the bank and the world at large
- Lead meetings with Citi clients on cyber security issues. This can include presentations on the threat landscape, case studies, and Citi’s cyber defense capabilities
- Operating, creating, and maintaining hacking demonstrations and other Fusion Center products
- Assisting in operating Fusion Center technologies including dashboards and our 66-screen video wall
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Ability to be on-site in Singapore office (~3 days a week)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Background in conducting research on technical subjects
- Experience interacting with C-suite executives
- 2-4 years in cyber security-related field or educational program
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills
- Should have a working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Advanced Persistent Threat, Third Party Risks/Threats, Cybercrime, Extremist Groups and Cyber Terrorists, Hacktivism, Distributed Denial of Service attacks, Fraud, Malware, Mobile Threats
- Programming ability a plus, but not required
- Second language a plus, but not required
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
