Responsibilities:

  • Sales and marketing of FX eSolutions to corporate clients in the Asia region, including originating new client opportunities, ensuring smooth rollout and eventual commercialization. Key eFX Solutions include:
    • CitiFX Pulse – Our award winning flagship corporate platform featuring a comprehensive suite of modules from pre-trade to execution to post trade
    • Citi InstantFX - Citi’s tailored, guaranteed rates solution that allows clients to price across local currencies and efficiently hedge the FX risk for their cross-currency business.
    • CitiFX Gateway/SFTP – STP solutions allowing clients to fully automate their FX processes
  • Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures and partner with other client stakeholders within the bank to recommend, develop and deliver best-in-class eFX Solutions to clients that differentiate Citi from competition.
  • Work with our partners in Transaction Banking to originate and commercialize bundled solutions across FX, Payments and Collections.
  • Work with the Corporate FX Sales teams to continually improve e-penetration and efficiency for their countries
  • Constantly obtain client feedback, understand client needs and work with the pricing as well as development teams to meet those needs and ensure our product remains cutting-edge
  • Keep informed of changes in a dynamic, competitive marketplace and update internal resources on trends
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
  • Ability to take a consultative approach to client solutioning, involving gaining a deep understanding of client business models, flows, exposures and processes, and interfacing with many different teams within the client organizations
  • Prior experience in and knowledge of Foreign Exchange or Payments/Receivables and Corporate ERP/TMS systems
  • Knowledge of Multi-currency Pricing/Dynamic Currency Conversion Solutions and client connectivity (e.g. APIs, ETLs) is preferred
  • Experience of working on/working for Fintech’s/Digital clients is preferred
  • Effective at working with many parts of Citi, most notably Banking, TTS and FX Local Markets
  • Excellent project and product management skills
  • Self-starter with a highly motivated, entrepreneurial attitude
  • Skillful communicator. Written and verbal skills in Mandarin are preferred.
  • Some travel in the region needed


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
