The team leader will be responsible for managing 5-7 sales managers and delivering commercial card monthly/yearly acquisition targets. He/She will also need to manage the on-boarding of sales managers E2E, provide feedback & coaching and adhere to sales procedures.

Strategize with the team to identify and develop sales pipelines. Personally develop key sourcing channels and drive large deals (credit lines of >S$ 250,000 and/or  > 7 cards). Continuously monitor activities of all team members, de-brief and provide adequate feedback to ensure maximum output. Manage sales issues and provide guidance to increase conversion rates. Endeavor to increase productivity and reduce sales cycle time.

People

Be involved in hiring of new team members & expansion where required. Manage attrition to a reasonable level (<10% per 6 months). Build bench strength and chart career plans for team.    

Process & Compliance

Ensure complete training and product competence for all sales officers. Take ownership of application processing issues and manage to closure. Ensure high levels of service resolution to mitigate any customer issues. Ensure all sales are compliant- review calls and investigate where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years previous financial sales experience required
  • Able to work in a team and maintains good relationship with customers and branch/hub.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
