The Trade Operations Head is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring trade transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the CSC teams. The overall objective is to manage the daily operations for the Singapore Trade Operations unit and including governance over all outsourced services for Trade.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations for Singapore Trade team and governance over outsourced / offshored Trade services and ensure teams meet performance and quality expectations
  • Manage staff resource allocation while assisting with the development and oversight of the budget
  • Resolve complex and highly variable issues with significant departmental impact.
  • Engage with Country and Regional Trade product teams to deliver on high quality client solutions and delivery outcomes.
  • Evaluate performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining workflow standards
  • Contribute to the objectives of the Trade Operations function and operate as a key management member of the Singapore TTS Ops management.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of core Trade experience in a related middle to senior level role with core experience in Trade operations and management
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
  • Forward thinker and client centric.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills


Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
