Overview of the Role

  • The Technical Project Manager is expected to work on highly complex and time-sensitive client projects of assigned clients.

  • Be the Lead contact for all technical conversations on local, regional and global projects for the client.

  • Act as an advisor to the client in building the overall technical solutions and fine tune the solution to fit the client's requirements.

  • Support Sales effort by participating as a part of the deal team to prepare client pitches

  • Ensure the design adheres to client’s specific profile and the designated client’s Treasury’s Roadmap

  • Coordinate solutioning of all new technical Initiatives

  • Ensure timely delivery of projects and total client satisfaction: Implement client objectives within standard guidelines and timeframes

  • Appropriately manage and resolve issues and escalations raised throughout all projects through proper issue tracking and escalation channels

  • Involved in client-side system wide updates, API specific solutions, Continuity of Business programs

  • Diligently working on process improvements which impact the client, including involvement in channel lifecycle enhancements, aligning expectations of solution delivery and spearheading pilot product introductions

  • Perform periodic inventory review of channel based solutions

  • Provide oversight for all maintenance and regression activities

  • Work with client technical teams and Citi team to build a warehouse of information covering all technical details of the client solution.

  • Work with Service & Support teams and review any patterns in issues and escalations to highlight areas for improvement and propose long term-fixes

  • Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of client management and/or project management experience preferred

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with cash/trade products and business processes, and knowledge of Citi’s client facing systems.

  • Strong influencing skills to manage virtual teams

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Project

  • Certified Project Management training / certification (i.e. Project Management Professional - PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner, or equivalent) preferred

  • A technical background and a strong understanding of human and system interfacing, interaction and design are also highly desirable.

  • Business Level Mandarin / Fluency


Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree a plus
