The Finance Reporting Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team. Additionally, the Finance Reporting Group Manager develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial reporting and analysis. The objective of this role is to ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Role involves facilitating Automation of the Local Regulatory Reports in Strategic Reporting Platform as part of Finance Automation strategy for identified APAC countries.
  • Execute the implementation of reports as per the Book of work schedule.
  • Engage  with various stakeholders in execution of delivery as per the prescribed / stipulated timelines for Go live.
  • Maintain overall control/governance of  Automation Program implementation 
  • Coordinate meetings and workshops.  project tracking, communicate key dependencies across the group, proactively follow up on outstanding items.
  • Develop task trackers, progress reports/dashboards. Highlight key risks to task delivery and mitigating actions ;
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication on project status / updates through Program Steering Committee meetings,  periodic Country updates to key stakeholders.

KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, Chartered Accountant or CPA / MBA - Finance preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, 
  • Understanding of Local Regulatory landscape of Singapore and various reports eg (MAS610, MAS649, MAS637, etc)
  • Project management experience within Financefunction would be desirable
