Junior Ops Support Analyst -Resident

The successful candidate will join Pricing & Maintenance team & will work cross-functionally with Regional Investment Operation teams, Product specialists, Front Office, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology.

The job scope will range from but not limited to maintaining & updating Bonds, Mutual Funds, Structured Notes & Equities set-up in the System. The role also touches on Pricing & Database updates.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Mutual Funds / Bonds / Structured Notes / Equities related processing for Asia Pacific Countries
• Ensuring quality processing and adherence to Citi Policies and Controls
• Liaison with other processing teams in RIO, Product team and country operations teams located in countries supported by the department
• Ensure that the day to day processing of orders is completed smoothly adhering to the cut off times
• Meet the Business expectation on operational matters and facilitate a high degree of customer satisfaction
• Timely handling of transactions and exceeding the Service expectation with internal clients.
• Must be detailed oriented to handle the large volume of daily transactions.
• Conduct Daily & Periodic Sanction screening checks for all RIO-supported businesses & update related Operating & Process Manuals
• Supports new product setup, static data maintenance and pricing functions for Consumer bank businesses (SG, HK and China) in Asia Pacific countries.
• Manage day to day maintenance requirement from different country product teams.
• Generating variance and stale price report and perform EOD reporting to country product teams.
• Supports adhoc maintenance by performing Bulk upload function in the investment system.
• Handle business queries and perform investigation on any production discrepancy. 
• Liaises with Bloomberg and AA stock on any pricing issues.
• Manage day to day operations of maintaining the structure product warehouse by understanding the term sheet, maintaining the notes, subscription and redemption update, underlying update on valuation and levels to track performance of the Note, capturing maturity, callback proceeds.
• Generating dashboard reports from the data warehouse on periodic basis or adhoc basis as per country and regional investment product team requirements.
• Generating Performance metrics for Structured products by analyzing the data from the data warehouse

​Qualifications:

• Ability to work in diverse environments and cultures
• 0 to 2 year’s work experience preferably in Bank Operations
• Fresh graduates with related disciplines are welcomed to apply
• Knowledge of Investment products especially around Equities, Mutual Funds and Fixed Income Securities is preferrable
• Strong knowledge of MS tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint
• Responsible, organized and ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Provide high quality service to internal customers
• Articulate with strong communications skills both written and spoken
• Good Team Player
• Willingness to work on Singapore Public Holidays

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
