As a member of the Citi’s Business Continuity Management (CBCM) Denial-of-Service (DOS) Testing Regional team, the Disaster Recovery Project Manager will be responsible for the lifecycle of a DOS Sponsored Test.  The DOS program includes Data Center and Tech Room Site Level DOS Tests, quarterly and semi-annual Compliance DOS Tests, EUC Testing, and Volume Validation. 

The Disaster Recovery Project Manager will closely work in all phases of planning, execution, and closure with Application Coordinators, Business Coordinators, and CTI Infrastructure Teams to execute the assigned DOS Test.

With regards to Crisis Management, the Disaster Recovery Project Manager will be responsible for recovering the impacted Data Center or Tech Room to its respective recovery site(s) by working with Disaster Recovery Application Coordinators, Disaster Recovery Business Coordinators, and CTI Support Teams. In addition, the Disaster Recovery Project Manager will interface with the DOS Testing Regional Manager with recovery status/issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of their assigned Denial of Service (DOS) Test:
    • Data Center and Tech Room Site DOS Test, Quarterly Test, and Sponsored DOS Test.
    • EUC Standalone Testing
    • Volume Validation Testing
  • Responsible for project planning and execution of assigned DOS Test and working closely with Disaster Recovery Application Coordinators, Disaster Recovery Business Coordinators, and Technology/Application Support Teams in all phases of test planning and execution of the DOS Test.
  • Responsible for interfacing with Sector Coordinator/SME, Technology Support Teams, Application Community, and Business Community in ensuring Major Deliverables are met as part of DOS Test Planning process. 
  • Responsible for coordinating the recovery of the Production Data Center or Tech Room to their respective Recovery Site(s) during an event and interfacing DOS Testing Regional Manager for Senior Management updates.
  • Responsible for maintaining the respective Mainframe Technology Recovery Plan (TRP).
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on technical recovery and testing capabilities and ready to support any internal audit or regulatory review upon requests.
  • Coordinate Volume Validation workflow as the Volume Validation manager for EI/GF ASPAC applications.
  • Elevate the understanding of CBCM Concepts and Program among Citi’s Lines of Business and ensures best CBCM practices are adopted. 
  • Responsible for continual improvements and enhancements to the DOS Testing Framework/Methodologies/Strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ Years of experience
  • BS/BA Degree or compensating years of experience
  • Fully conversant with Business Continuity principles and procedures across all aspects of business planning and regulatory compliance
  • General appreciation of the technical environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery methodologies and technical testing strategies (including cloud and robotics) would be advantageous
  • An appreciation of application and system architecture
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure and Data Center organization structure and processes.
  • Familiarity with the emerging regulatory environment as it relates disaster recovery testing.
