The Credit Portfolio Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for Unsecured Credit Risk with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support new model development initiatives, from model development to implementation, working closely with regional and global modelling teams to ensure timely project delivery for effective portfolio management.
  • Provide support and guidance for in-country business and regional initiatives that drives overall business and portfolio growth through model risk management.
  • Ensures model governance process are in-place and compliant with local, regional and global policies driving alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes and work-flows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise within Risk Management.
  • Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, reconciliation, and quality testing.
  • Maintain and improve monitoring & control processes of Model Risk Management, execute scorecard implementation processes, complete periodic model performance reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual), and resolution of any data issues.
  • Support digital initiatives by the bank, ensuring processes and model requirements are inline with business directions and global policies.
  • Maintain an audit-ready mindset, with a strong Risk and Controls culture that is aligned with firm-wide guidelines.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of retail risk analytics, experience in model risk is preferred.
  • Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects
  • Proven interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
