Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with business in identifying issues, and supporting them in drafting appropriate action steps and realistic target dates, entering and activating draft issues and CAPs in iCAPs system on a timely basis, monitoring CAP progress, proactively escalating ‘at-risk’ issues and CAPs, and validating completed CAPs to ensure good data quality.
  • Perform quality monitoring and testing for MCA activities under the cards business
  • Work closely with Regional and business with the deployment of Standard MCA Profile (SMP) and Enterprise MCA Profile (EMP) content
  • Provide support to business stakeholders on Annual Risk Assessments (ARAs) and internal audit related activities, including coordination and validation of data quality across all supporting units
  • Work closely with the business to identify opportunities to enhance control and monitoring to ensure effectiveness
  • Support any adhoc projects or initiatives related to risk and control
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.


  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with strong strategic, analytical and project management skills
  • Experience in Risk & Control in a large financial institution.
  • Experience using risk and control systems (i.e. CitiRisk and Controls)
  • Strong understanding of the Consumer Cards Business
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in process simplification, reengineering and automation efforts.
  • Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge in the Credit Card Business would be an advantage.
