We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President (AVP), Sales & Advisory Business Execution Senior Analyst, based in Singapore. The Sales & Advisory Business Execution Sr. Analyst is key member of the Asia South Investment Advisory Team. The role is a seasoned professional who applies in-depth knowledge to drive improvement of investments sales & advisory processes and work-flow. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the investment sales & advisory function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area of investent sales & advisory are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Management of specific investment advisory artifacts with inputs from various internal partners
- Work with key control stakeholders and other internal partners to streamline investment sales & advisory process.
- Deliverables include elevating internal client (Bankers and Investment Counselors) and external client experience related to investment sales & advisory process.
- Work with internal partners to support project management of strategic initiatives to improve processes and risk management.
- Sharp and concise presentation of key business intelligence and strategi initiatives to obtain buy-in from key stakeholders and keep them updated.
- Work with key control stakeholders and other internal partners to effectively manage risks in the investment sales & advisory process through systemic controls and where systemic controls are not viable, through effective operational controls.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years relevant experience in investment products, and investment sales & advisory processes
- Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams.
- Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.
- Interest and experience in the financial services industry, in particular in the areas of wealth management and investent products
- Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
