Credit Card and Lending Product Control Manager


Job Description:

  • Be responsible for the in-business risk and control for Credit Card and Unsecured Lending Product, especially on the regular MIS monitoring and review on the stability of product setup in terms of product feature, system functionality and controls via Digital Monitoring Tool, so as to identify and escalate any issue/exception timely, and provide the remediation and mitigation proposals which will help business to enhance the control effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Be responsible for preparing the regulatory reporting that are owned by Credit Card and Unsecured Lending Product, and ensure the data accuracy and reporting submission on a timely basis.
  • Support product relevant procedure and process update and maintenance to optimize the process and comply with internal policy and regulatory requirement.
  • Coordinate continuity of business (CoB) and information security risk control for Credit Card and Unsecured Lending Product.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the control mitigation or transformation, e.g. coordinating and interacting with other control units such as the Consumer Business Operation Risk Control (CBORC). Operation Risk Management (ORM).
  • Proactively report and escalate material emerging or existing issues and risks.
  • Effectively deal with and develop solutions to moderately difficult problems.
  • Good Project Management skills in terms of communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and ready for transformation support.

Qualifications:

  • Working experience in the operations, control functions in financial/ banking industry / other relevant industry is preferred
  • Ability to handle pressure, can manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks well
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Project management skill
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functions. Appreciates and understands Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Good command of English and Mandarin with the ability to read, write and converse
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
