Equities Middle Office Senior Analyst

The Equities Middle Office team is responsible for supporting Citi’s institutional Brazil Cash Equities business in the processing of listed equities and derivatives transactions at B3 exchange for institutional local and global investment manager clients during the lifecycle of a trade: pre- and post-trade execution, performing trade allocations and acting as point of contact for other Global Middle Office structures and clients. It is also responsible for supporting the Equities Derivatives and Delta One businesses in LATAM, managing the stock inventory post-trade flow of proprietary positions, its cash flows and for processing reconciliations across a global systemic environment, dealing with equity stocks, listed and OTC derivatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide trade support activities to the Cash Equity, Equity Derivatives and Delta One business desks.
- Act on cash equities trade capture, allocations, trade confirmations.
- Support local and foreign clients (institutional investors) on pre-trade and post-trade demands, trade allocations, trade confirmations, pre-match and settlement.
- Interact with Back Office, other Global Equities Middle Office Teams, Custodians, Client Portfolio Managers throughout the trades lifecycle and for reconciliation purposes.
- Intermediate the processing of Offshore Equity Trades between local Institutional Clients and Citi’s Global Equities Operations Teams.
- Process ECM Deal Allocations (IPOs and Follow Ons) and Corporate Actions.
- Perform the analysis of the equities proprietary positions stock flow, stock borrow/lending analysis, collateral management, cashflow management and reconciliation for Delta One and Derivatives businesses.
- Perform reconciliations between B3, front office risk and back office systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree
• English – Fluent – Writing and Speaking
•3+ years of experience in financial institution / similar role
• Advanced skills at Microsoft Office Excel (VBA knowledge is a plus)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to improve existing processes.
• Detail oriented, team player, strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
