Wealth Relationship Manager - C12

Citigold Wealth Management (CWM) provides banking and wealth management services via our Citibank branch-based advisors and centralized service centers. CWM will lead efforts to dramatically expand our personal wealth management capabilities and provide our high net worth clients (defined as $1MM+ Deposits & Investments with Citi) with a robust and differentiated banking & wealth management value proposition. 

The Wealth Relationship Manager will be a client-facing role remotely located responsible for servicing and supporting our high value clients primarily through inbound and outbound phone calls. They will be tasked with providing best in class service on both Banking and Investment inquiries. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional support and issue resolution to Citigold Clients – all client issues will be owned end to end by the Wealth Relationship Manager and will be treated with a closed loop process
  • Anticipates the complex financial needs of the client and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services and tools based on client profiling and suitability assessments
  • Conducts value-add client meetings on a consistent basis remotely 
  • Handles all inquiries/requests related to all banking and investment operations – including financial plans, investment servicing, placing unsolicited securities trades and account opening (s7 & s66 required)
  • Builds and maintains relationships with clients, Wealth Teams, Wealth Advisors, and support teams in support of new business, retention and client satisfaction goals.  Partner with these teams to resolve client issues
  • Introduces clients to segment partners where appropriate (including but not limited to Mortgage, Cards, Lending, etc.)
  • Responsible for keeping detailed records of open client issues and monitoring them accordingly
  • Builds a rapport with Wealth Teams and Wealth Advisors; utilizing Salesforce regularly for communication of issues/tasks/opportunities requiring their attention
  • Builds a rapport with back office staff and seek out highest level of support from those teams
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management to identify client pain points and barriers to exceptional service; come up with suggestions on process improvement

Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to create a top notch client experience with every client every day; associates must possess a combination of excellent knowledge and superior soft skills
  • Open to receiving feedback on a frequent basis- continuous feedback will be crucial to the success of the team
  • Ability to support a diverse array of products, financial planning and services
  • Ability to utilize a large number of Bank systems at the highest level of entitlement
  • Capable of working independently within established procedures and make decisions without manager approval; must also be a strong team player
  • Prior work experience in a related job that would provide a comprehensive understanding of activities, policies, procedures, and concepts of the work area
  • Understanding of multiple products across business lines combined with exceptional networking and relationship building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience and knowledge across multiple functions preferred but not required (Banking, Cards, Mortgage, etc.)
  • Exceptional ability to find creative solutions for issue resolution
  • Prior Citiphone and Citigold training preferred
  • Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) Licenses
  • Bachelor degree preferred
