The Learning Dsgn&Dev Intmd Anlst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requests:
    • Validate authority of requestor; coordinate acquisition of permission if needed.
    • Determine complexity of request and impact of change; assign process steps needed for resolution.
  • Write high complexity authoring tasks:
    • Research new projects and create new knowledge content.
    • Create/modify content targeted to increase user efficiency by improving usability and reducing effort to locate knowledge.
    • Coordinate focus groups to determine the format, graphics and text to produce the best user-focused knowledge material.
  • Influence stakeholder and business partners to support changes and embrace learning methodologies needed to support agent-focused material.
  • Share writing expertise by mentoring junior writers and supporting peers.
  • Evaluate article quality:
    • Verify article content fulfills the change request parameters.
    • Meets established writing standards.
  • Analyze governance needs based on the nature of the change, the business requirements and risk rating of the article; gather necessary approvals from stakeholders including legal and compliance.
  • Resolve stakeholder concerns raised in approval process, and influence to complete overdue approval requests; escalate as needed.

Functional Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English/Communications or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at multiple levels with multiple audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analyzing, planning, and organization skills
  • Demonstrated skills in information gathering; including interviews and focus groups.
  • Ability to translate complex, technical information for nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently and consistently meeting project deliverables on time.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in learning strategy and writing standards.
