The Learning Design and Development Senior Analyst consults and collaborates with other Learning Design and Development Senior Analysts, Learning Advisors, Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts, Trainers, and project teams to design and develop effective and engaging training.

The Learning Design and Development Senior Analyst has a growth mindset, is adaptable and curious, and applies adult learning theories and Instructional Design methodology to create interactive training solutions using a variety of learning modalities, (mobile learning, web-based training, social learning, adaptive learning, self-directed learning, virtual and in-class facilitation, job aids and other training materials).

Responsibilities:

  • Develops training programs and learning materials using a variety of learning methodologies designed for classroom, self-directed and web-based delivery mediums; integrating adult learning theory and creativity into all design elements for the creation of an interactive and effective learning experience.

  • Determines and develops appropriate training solutions for assigned projects, based on the outcome of analyzing business needs, performance goals, and audience.

  • Participates in the program design process by assisting with: needs assessments; task analysis; research of knowledge tasks; working with subject matter experts to validate content; and the creation of supporting design documents including story boards and mock-ups. Development includes: constructing end-user classroom materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and writing supporting documentation

  • Creates measurement strategy for client solutions to include the overall assessment approach.

  • Designs and develops data collection tools and methods to measure the impact of training.

  • Creates, deploys, and maintain eLearning media including: WBTs, Simulations, Scenario and game-based learning, Audio, Video, and additional media, as needed

  • Build engaging, impactful user interfaces, prototypes, and graphic design elements for use within websites and eLearning media; provide creative direction on interactivity, imagery and branding

  • Review and test internal, vendor created, and other media for use within the organization, and/or deployment via LMS systems

  • Researches current industry best practices in learning as well as eLearning and applies in instructional solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design experience a plus

  • 2+ years of eLearning/multi-media development a plus
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating adult learning theory, practices, and methodologies into the creation of training materials used in a business setting

  • Experience within Retail and Consumer Banking a plus
  • Demonstrated project and process management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent instructional design projects

  • Demonstrated experience creating Web-based Training (WBT), along with creation of media such as audio, video, custom animations/interactions, custom graphics, etc.

  • Knowledge and experience in how to craft the visual experience that works best with course content

  • Expertise with the following content authoring tools: Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, After Effects, and Audition

  • Knowledge of LMS systems, and creating compliant content that functions within an LMS

  • Experience in the banking, mortgage, and/or financial services industry preferred

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in eLearning, Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education, or a related field and/or eLearning Technical Certifications from certified institutions and experience.
