Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Engineering Director within our Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) department to lead a growing team of ServiceNow engineers as we build out the future of our Service Management capabilities on the ServiceNow Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. The ideal candidate is someone who can be hands-on with the development team driving architecture and technical strategy while also acting as a senior leader across the technology sectors and be able to influence all levels of the organization.
The ServiceNow Engineering Director will be responsible for the application ownership, development delivery, management, hiring and support of the Service Management platform.
Responsibilities:
- Technical development of ServiceNow engineering staff and support of the Incident, Problem, Change, Chat, Portal, and Security Incident Response (SIR) capabilities
- Be a hands-on leader and technical subject management expert on adopting and implementing solutions to improve the Service Management capabilities
- Act as a technical lead and architect of our development and engineering teams using your experience and knowledge to implement solutions
- Partner with product owners, process owners, and other business leaders to build Service Management solutions
- Ensure the delivery of solutions are in-line with ServiceNow best practices, reducing as much customizations as possible
- Manage software ownership and delivery throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ensure the solutions are delivered in an agile and iterative approach that automates as much as possible (testing, release, observability)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- 5+ years managing ServiceNow or similar Service Management products
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
- BA/BS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 4+ years work experience)
