Responsibilities
Global Functions Technology (GFT) is responsible for delivering Technology solutions for Citi's Global Functions organizations. The Global Risk & Compliance Technology Group (GRCT) within GFT supports a diverse range of business partners such as Risk Governance, Compliance Risk, Retail Risk, Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Model Risk and OTRC.
This Risk & Controls position within GRCT is at director-level and will take a leadership role in building and managing solutions for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Controls, and Policy governance programs. A key objective of the team is to build new tools for Enterprise Risk Management and Policy Framework to facilitate centralized, digitized management of multiple Enterprise Risk and policy management initiatives.
This director will manage a team of approximately 20 plus resources with future growth. The ideal person will have prior experience providing leadership and oversight of the Risk & Controls area for a large financial organization. The role will manage stakeholder and executive level sponsor expectations, as the key operational interface ensuring execution and delivery of technology solutions. The incumbent will be accountable for reporting on the health and overall program effort with sound metrics and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Guide transformational Risk & Controls initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, contributing to the overall outcomes, definition, scoping, design, and delivery; ensuring effective business controls are established and maintained
- Guide the technology and architectural direction of Enterprise solutions and capabilities.
- Partner and manage cross-functional teams to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive digital channel solution delivery
- Experience with driving agile development methodology
- Accountable for completion of all project deliverables within program and ensuring completion and communication of Risk mitigation plans, critical path and dependencies, project recovery and business continuity plans
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop solutions for Enterprise Risk Management standards, and frameworks to adequately identify, measure, monitor, and control risks.
- Develop a central platform for Enterprise-wide policies, enabling standardization and alignment of policies, standards, and their codified procedures to Citi’s Risk & Controls environment.
- Identify & remediate Policy and Risk governance related data deficiencies, including data quality errors and failure to produce timely and accurate management and regulatory reporting.
- Integrate third party platform/s with Citi solutions offering linkages to Citi systems issues & corrective actions, control assessments, regulation inventory, and other Citi tools
- Understanding of company and client challenges to build solutions in line with the programs AI/ ML needs. Integrate external vendor AI/ ML capabilities to create robust document management solution.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of technology leadership experience managing large delivery teams
- 8+ years of software delivery management experience
- 5+ years experience with SaaS cloud rollouts
- Proven track record planning, executing, and implementing large scale cloud-based implementations in an enterprise-wide digitization offering
- Experience with SaaS cloud rollouts
- Full SDLC experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) or equivalent work experience
