CFSI GCG Insurance Product Manager (Digital/Alternate Channels)

Locations: Quezon City, National Capital Region Job Function: CitiFinancial Employee Status: Regular Job ID: 20162291

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

Overall channel and product management support to the Insurance Business through development and implementation of product and segment strategies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Product approvals and launches:

  • Identify suitable insurance propositions for various customer segments and develop Digital and Telemarketing channels
  • Work with insurance partner and Citi local and regional approvers to launch products
  • Regular engagement and oversight of sales channels to solicit feedback on product & need gaps, drive performance and quality
  • Conduct due diligence for product/ provider as per Citi policies and ensure adherence to insurance and banking regulations
  • Timely and effective launch of new products, including related campaigns
  • Ensure system readiness for product launches

Product performance management:

  • Develop business plan for all products managed and actively track performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities on a monthly basis for campaigns to drive product performance and to attain targeted product mix
  • Ensure effective training and co-ordination with insurance partner and Citi Business Training Unit
  • Actively engage with region to understand best practices from other countries and identify opportunities for growth
  • Work with performance management team for development of insurance tacticals and scorecards as may be required
  • Product P&L management

Others:

  • Work with operations lead to support development of a seamless sales process, suggest improvements and changes to improve efficiency
  • Work with campaigns lead to support the development of the customer journey & marketing initiatives for insurance
  • Manage projects in line with insurance strategy to grow the business, through alternate models and omni channel approach

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder with at least 6-7  years  working experience, preferred experience in product management or in understanding of retail banking environment or bancassurance
  • Ability to appreciate regulations/ policies and related compliance
  • Digital channel management preferred
  • Ability to work well with senior stakeholders across local and regional functions, i.e. legal, compliance, external stakeholders, sales heads,  operations, marketing, regional executives etc.
