Job Description Summary
Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) group is built on the power of our network. We have offices in 101 countries, servicing clients in 160 countries, transacting on over 140 currencies, servicing 81% of the Global Fortune 500 companies and processing over 4 trillion dollars a day in payments. Citi is seeking a highly motivated candidate for a Senior Agile coach position in the TTS Organization to be a strategic partner and thought leader at Portfolio/Program level. The Coach will work across multiple lines of business, architectural teams, product teams and dependent technical teams. The Coach will assist the TTS Organization on its in-flight agile journey by continuing to create strategy, roadmap, processes, structures, guidelines, architecture, communities of practice etc. for its SAFe 5.0 Agile Transformation Program. They will be responsible ensuring that the agile adoption is undertaken in a consistent manner, underpinned by agile metrics to measure adherence and success as well as to ensure the absence of any agile anti-patterns.
Job Description
The Senior Agile Coach will help drive the Agile Transformation, supporting the organization to understand, adopt and practice the Lean-Agile methodology to continuously improve productivity and effectiveness of solution delivery. A key focus will be continuing to define and improve the current Agile Transformation plans within the SAFe 5.0 Framework and Roadmap. They will support the implementation and adoption of SAFe-Lean-Agile principles and practices through strong teaching, training, coaching and mentoring throughout the organization. This role demands excellent communication, collaboration and diplomacy skills in order to guide, influence and convince others in their adoption of the Lean-Agile mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver SAFe 5.0 for Teams (SP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Product Owner (POPM), and/or SAFe Agilest (SA) certifications; must have current Trainer enablements
- Candidate should be willing to achieve remaining SAFe Trainer Enablement’s in Agile Product Management, SAFe for Architects, SAFe Release Train Engineer and Lean Portfolio Management and to deliver these modules in-house
- Assist RTEs and Product Managers to track/manage Feature definition to delivery
- Assist RTEs and STEs in facilitating the ART sync and Value Stream sync effectively
- Coach RTEs to manage risks and dependencies and escalate and track impediments
- Provide coaching to Leadership and RTEs to identify and address critical bottlenecks
- Able to stand-in as RTE where necessary for PI Planning
- Provide guidance to programs in designing continuous integration and deployment pipelines to deliver value quickly
- Assist programs to conduct System Demos where required
- Provide coaching and mentoring to drive relentless improvement via Inspect & Adapt workshops
- Guide the evolution a LACE (Lean-Agile Center of Excellence)
- Foster Communities of Practices and coach people to effectively facilitate them
- Be highly proficient in the use of Jira and the applicability of Jira within the SAFe Framework
- Coach Agile Coaches to lead effective SAFe and Kanban trainings to instil the lean agile mindset
Required Skills

- Successful track record of enabling Agile teams with predictable commitment and delivery
Qualifications:
- 10 or more years’ experience within IT, exposed to banking domain, especially around Product management
- SAFe 5.0 Program Consultant (SPC)
- Minimum 3 years as an Agile coach
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree
