Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced and  driven high performing Sales Manager to join our Wealth Management and Distribution Team in Perth. The successful candidate will have deep investments and wealth experience, generate new business opportunities as well as lead a high performing team of relationship managers. The objective of this highly sought after role is to achieve segment and product business goals in terms of new client acquisition, revenue, NPS (net promoter score), growing and developing a strong team culture while ensuring compliance measures are continuously met. 


  • Actively manage, coach and lead the wealth sales team ensuring they possess the necessary technical skills, operational knowledge and sales capability to meet and exceed their performance benchmark.

  • Actively source new business from business partners to acquire New-To-Bank wholesale investment clients.

  • Provide leadership in hiring, developing, coaching and mentoring a high performing team capable of meeting the needs of clients.

  • Develop, communicate and implement a value-based fixed income solution that produces a predictable and sustainable income stream and leverage on the full investments and wealth management product array available to create new client opportunities and deepen existing client relationships.

  • Plan and implement service strategies, capacity planning and sales management process to achieve service standards and goals.

  • Build strong working relationships within the community to advance the strategic vision of Citi and create opportunities for growth.

  • Liaise with peer group to ensure that the team is able to work productively to meet objectives

  • Ensure operational and compliance activities are completed on time and according to agreed quality standards

  • Meet assigned NPS, revenue and compliance targets

  • Action day-to-day tasks as assigned by the Head of Banking and Wealth Management Distribution

  • Superior networking skills

  • Proven investment and product knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to build, motivate and lead others

  • Superior sales and negotiation skills

  • Achievement and result-oriented, with an aim to excel

  • Mature, independent, with excellent communication and relationship building skills

  • Previous experience in a global investment bank highly regarded

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Commerce, or related disciplines

  • RG146 Compliant
