Sanction Screening Analyst of Supporting Documentation
Role is placed within Sanction Screening Hub in Olsztyn, SOHO team.
SOHO team is responsible for sanction screening of supporting documentation for EMEA countries.
The Sanction Screening Senior Analyst is advanced level role responsible for capturing and screening elements in documentation provided by Clients in line with regulations, and to act as a subject matter expert in process of screening supporting documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a manager’s backup in process management and proactively coordinating workload within the team
- Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert)
- Dealing with Ad-hock requests such as data analysis, preparation of reports etc
- Participation in tests of applications scheduled outside of working hours
- Cooperation and daily communication with other Citi branches globally
- Extraction and classification of data from supplementary documentation in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards
- Disposition of sanction matches in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards
- Taking part in regular courses, making sure that you are up to date with sanctions regulations
- Participating or leading projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience is preferred
- Good understanding of English written and spoken (B2 level or higher)
- Great communication skills (written and verbal), ability to work in team
- Leadership and good analytical skills
- Understanding of sanction policies and regulations
- Being up to date with international relations and sanctions in general is an advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
- Having "an eye for detail", being able to read the context of a given document
- Ability to work under time pressure and in constantly changing environment
