The Financial Planning and Analysis Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to manage professional team(s)/department(s) and apply analytical thinking/knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.


Financial Performance: Provide analysis and oversight on the three primary revenue components of Mortgage entity, including:

  • Loans held on balance and related net interest margin
  • Loans sold into secondary market and related gains on sale
  • Loans serviced for others and related economics around Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSRs)

Investments and Productivity: Work with US Mortgage leadership to develop, execute, and monitor investments in growth initiatives

Forecasting: Lead aforementioned areas through the firm wide Operating Plan, the Mid-Year reforecast and the monthly forecast updates, as well as any ad hoc requests

CCAR: Ensure the semi-annual stress test is performed in-line with requirements established by the Capital Planning Group

Governance: Maintain proper control environment, ensuring processes are adequately documented and included in MCA.  Ensure models and EUCs maintained within expected framework

Partnership:  Work effectively with colleagues across Citi, including but not limited to Treasury, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, and Risk

Leadership: Attract and develop talent within the department, managing a team of on-shore direct reports as well as resources in Costa Rica and Mumbai


  • 10+ years experience in Finance or related roles, with 3-5 years managing.  Background in Mortgage or Banking strongly desired.
  • Excellent team leadership and partnership skills: ability to work with and influence senior management across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Excellent people leader: a track record of building and maintaining a high performing team of motivated Finance professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation. Ability to understand and articulate complex financial activities to all levels of senior management is critical.
  • Strong partnering and influencing skills.
  • Proven operational and financial leadership with ability to drive results.
  • Strong analytics and strategic thinking.
  • Strong background in Financial Planning and Business Analytics.


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree / CPA or other advanced financial certification preferred
