Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in fast-paced operations center, meeting all production and quality expectations.
  • Calculate income using documentation required per investor, including complex self-employed tax return analysis.
  • Review and analyze credit reports, assets and other financial documents according to specific investor requirements.
  • Review appraisals to ensure value is supported and that the appraiser has provided complete and accurate commentary.
  • Perform timely review and validation of suspense conditions submitted by the lender. This will include any documentation presented in the loan origination process through the purchase of the loan.
  • Ability to effectively communicate credit decisions with Correspondents, Account Executives and any partners.
  • Train and mentor as needed.
  • Computer skills and flexibility to work in multiple systems a must, as data integrity is critical.
  • FHA and VA requirements a plus.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience underwriting agency (DU/LP) and non-agency loans.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
