Citigroup’s Retail Risk Data Strategy & Oversight team is focused on the strategic transformation of risk technology platforms and business process re-engineering to improve data quality, strengthen controls, and provide direction for an infrastructure that supports strong risk management. The team is responsible for oversight of data and infrastructure Risk related to PBWM Risk and Regulatory processes, and independent assessment of risk related to adoption of new technologies to manage Retail data, analytics, and reporting.

The Workflow and Testing Lead’s responsibilities support all aspects of the project life cycle for Credit Risk Projects.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to reviewing Business Requirement Documents, developing and executing test scripts, and overseeing testing team members.  The candidate will work with a diverse team to support over 30 consent order Credit Risk projects throughout the various stages of project development and implementation.


  • Review Business Requirement Documents and provide feedback on requirements.
  • Develop and execute test scripts.
  • Provide workflow and oversight support of offshore team members.
  • Oversee testing work for offshore analysts ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensuring testing results are reported to stakeholders.
  • Provides project management support including: business requirements, analysis, creation and execution of test scripts, and communication of results for delivery of regulatory solutions. (i.e.. Consent Order, Part 30 core capabilities initiatives, and CCAR regulatory requirements, etc.)
  • Assists project team working with business users to gather business requirements and draft and coordinate approval for Business Requirement Documents.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management process and documentation.
  • Partners with Clients to understand and quickly respond to Client needs. Proactively seeks Client feedback to influence change throughout organization.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation quality control for all applicable documents.
  • Performs data analysis to monitor and track data quality and completeness of data.


  • 5-8 years experience in relevant field.
  • Ability to partner with Business & Technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project goals.
  • Proficient ability to interpret business requirements for the purpose of liaising with Technology Developers.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel, other MS Office applications a bonus.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in compiling process and data quality metrics, analyzing results to clearly communicate data-driven analysis to senior management.
  • Good knowledge of risk management key concepts, risk credit cycle and controls with good understanding of key regulatory requirements.
