Cash & Trade Processing Analyst (Operations Coordinator) WKND Shift Fri-Mon 6am-4:30pm (Hybrid)
The Cash & Trade Proc Assoc Analyst 2 is an entry level role responsible for assisting the function with any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to facilitate multiple complex transaction types from end to end, including escalation as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with operational processes and process improvements
- Ensure transactions or processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls
- Facilitate the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of transaction services issues
- Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions
- Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed
- Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects
- Perform all required tasks within established procedures and controls to minimize losses
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Business Overview:
The Public Sector Lockbox business is a 24/7 operational unit which provides a variety of services to government clients to assist them in managing their receivables and sensitive documents. The core functions of this business include Mailroom, Batching, Scanning, Dispatch and Data Entry. Most functions occur in a POD or small team environment. A successful candidate must be able to work weekends/holidays, additional hours as required and successfully complete the government-required background check. The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned as necessitated by business demands. This role is an officer at Citi and therefore, is expected to excel at Citi’s Leadership Standards, categorized below.

- Coordinate daily production activities of the team including appropriate resource allocation, supporting shift targets, monitoring POD and shift-level metrics, and ensuring all client SLA’s are met
- Responsible for the operating efficiency and throughput of several functions or PODs

- Ensure Adherence to all departmental policies, client requirements, and compliance guidelines within a strictly regulated environment

- Assist with staff completion of the required compliance training and other functional training
- Support the review and reconciliation of requirements to Process Control Manuals
- Understand Contingency of Business expectations and participate in tests as needed

- Manage workflow for multiple PODs across all work streams ensuring timely completion of all functions by distributing work based on priority
- Participate in annual review of employee survey results, assist in creating the action plan, and executing tasks
- Timely escalate processing and staff-related issues to manager
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
- Safely use assorted equipment and machinery as needed
Job Qualifications:
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- 3-5 years lockbox experience preferred
- Customer Service and/or multi-shift experience preferred
- Demonstrated strong leadership, people and interpersonal skills
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information; considered trustworthy with confidential information
- Ability to interact with Senior Management
- Fully understand and abide by escalation protocol
- Project management experience preferred
- Ability to respond under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced environment, performing various functions with the flow of production
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail
- Preferred knowledge of existing business applications
- Must have an intermediate level for technical knowledge and the ability to problem solve to deliver quality service
- Intermediate level proficiency in Windows and MS Office Suite
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, lifting up to 40 pounds, performing repetitive bending and lifting related tasks as well as extensive walking and standing for long periods of time
- Must be flexible and able to work holidays/weekends and additional hours as required
- Reliable and dependable with proven success as a team player
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (green card) is a prerequisite for this position
- Must pass an extensive background check (renewed every 5 years)
- High School diploma or GED required
- BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
