Responsibilities
The Wholesale Credit Risk RWA Group is a newly created team within Wholesale Credit Risk Management, whose focus is to manage an effective RWA Target Operating Model for Wholesale Credit that is fully aligned with Citi’s enterprise-wide risk management framework.
The position will support the transition to Risk Weighted Asset Target Operating Model and execution of target state roles and responsibilities in BAU. Key responsibilities include
Responsibilities
- Support the initiatives to formalize the roles and responsibilities in the RWA target state
- Conduct detailed reviews of the current state of advanced model processes and identify gaps to regulatory expectations
- Assist with planning implementation roadmap and drive the execution with engaged stakeholders
- Implement processes for data parameters and develop associated procedures to provide the ongoing support of inputs into RWA calculation process
- Oversee model development and change process and review model output results
- Support appropriate oversight forums as necessary
- Drives remediation of issues and support other regulatory deliverables as needed
- Develop and provide relevant training for Basel subject matter and related newly established processes
- Advise Basel capital return analysis and impacts of new regulations as needed
The build-out of these frameworks are tied to Citi-level regulatory matters and Consent Order. This role will be supporting the Wholesale credit risk stripe in these mandates, and therefore preferably possess RWA knowledge, knowledge of the Wholesale Credit businesses, awareness of relevant Citi Risk Governance frameworks, and with an understanding of how to design and implement standards and metrics to implement the target state RWA pertinent to the global Wholesale Credit.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Wholesale Credit risk management and/or RWA experience preferably in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and consensus building
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize
- Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skill
This individual must be an excellent writer and verbal communicator and must possess sound judgment and strong stakeholder management. Having a working knowledge of RWA processes is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
