Citi’s Global Brand Management and Standards team, which is responsible for the evolution of and day-to-day management of the Citi Brand, across all its many touchpoints, is looking to fill an important position.

The Vice President, Visual Identity Management & Implementation will be responsible for supporting all global initiatives around Citi’s visual identity. This person will be partnering closely with the SVP, Global Brand Standards & Visual Identity Management in managing day-to-day activities across global markets to ensure the visual identity system maintains creative consistency at the highest standard. This will include both creative collaboration and practical project management; coordinating market, regional and enterprise teams to prioritize and execute visual identity activities in both marketing and non-marketing applications; and coordinating reviews to ensure all visual identity applications are delivered to brand standards.

A successful candidate is confident and comfortable in an agile, global, and matrixed environment, with the ability to manage multiple creative and integration focused workstreams to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget. Candidates should have experience anticipating and preparing for potential challenges and create new solutions and strategies, where necessary, to meet all visual identity program timelines and deliverables. Candidates must be able to build strong relationships with colleagues across the firm, adapt easily to differing work styles and be open to alternate points of view to create the best outcome. Experience working with large scale visual identity and brand design initiatives is preferred.


  • Working with the SVP, Global Brand Standards & Visual Identity Management, execute a process for globally managing Citi’s visual identity system. This will involve tracking the progress of visual identity initiatives across markets, regions, and the enterprise, and coordinating management routines for brand standards review to ensure global alignment to brand guidelines.
  • Partner with global teams to coordinate regular status meetings, track defined KPIs on the visual identity, and communicate all activities related to the visual identity system to stakeholders across markets, regions, and the enterprise.
  • Coordinate the updating of additional visual identity guidelines, ensuring all guidelines reflect global brand standards.
  • Partner with the Global Marketing Insights Team to coordinate a process for tracking, managing, and communicating on brand metric updates as they pertain to the visual identity system.
  • Partner in managing all other ongoing activities as they pertain to the visual identity system to ensure the project plan remains on time and on budget.
  • Manage up and down - often across multiple teams - to ensure work is completed on schedule, at the right levels and in a tightly coordinated manner.
  • Anticipate line of business and function needs and concerns and proactively work with senior leaders to address them.


  • 6-10 years professional experience
  • Ideal candidates will be organized self-starters with knowledge and experience in complex, global brand and visual identity management programs
  • Experience in client-facing, project management roles within a matrixed environment required
  • Experience managing creative and design development preferred, but not required
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred, but not required
  • Experience navigating agency relationships preferred, but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and persuasion skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Can-do attitude with a solution-focused and agile approach is critical


  • Bachelor’s/University degree required
