The Risk Manager in this position will be a key contributor as part of the Global Consumer CCAR Office by supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing management of CCAR/DFAST Stress Testing Process Governance and Controls, administration and documentation of Independent Risk Review and Challenge activities, Methodology Documentation, and Assumptions Management. Responsibilities will include:  

•  Ensuring efficient and effective governance by supporting the administrative requirements for the Independent Risk Oversight Committee and Independent Risk Model Oversight (e.g., preparation and distribution of meeting materials, minuting meetings, communication, follow-up on action items)

•  Providing project management and content development support in the preparation, completion, and ongoing maintenance of the Retail CCAR/DFAST Methodology Document, the Retail CCAR/DFAST Retail Workstream Procedures, and regulatory presentations

•  Interacting with 1st and 2nd lines of defense (i.e., Developers, Independent Risk Model Oversight, Global Product Specialists) to ensure CCAR/DFAST related requirements and expectations are communicated, improve documentation quality and consistency, and capture documentation of controls

•  Documenting Review and Challenge sessions between businesses risk managers and Independent Risk during development of forecast methodologies and overlays.

•  Working with Business Risk Managers and Independent Risk to identify and articulate portfolio risks and concentrations, limitations to forecasts, analysis of results and overlays, and incorporate into the Retail Methodology Document.

•  Administering Wdesk platform access, budgeting, and training requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years in Consumer Risk Management with an understanding of Consumer products and credit loss forecasting methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with demonstration of ability to work with Global teams to ensure timely delivery of requirements
  • Advanced Power Point and Excel skills with Wdesk experience
  • Specific knowledge of CCAR stress testing requirements a plus
