Key Responsibilities

  • Support management of larger accounts and solely manage smaller accounts until workout is complete by implementing respective policies and procedures.
  • Help in identifying, modifying, and implementing designed and approved work out strategies.
  • Evaluate customer’s data, such as historical financial information, management’s capabilities and industry prospects to determine appropriate remediation strategy.
  • Propose the appropriate Classification and Risk Rating of the facilities, and recommend the appropriate overall Bank’s strategy (Stay or Leave) against the customer.  Design and execute the action plan to materialize this strategy.
  • Negotiating with customers and other bank’s representatives in case of syndications.
  • Coordinate the restructuring team comprised of lawyers, external auditors, other internal groups or third parties to achieve the workout strategy objectives. 
  • Preparing and approving Annual Reviews, Classified Credit Reports, credit memorandums, Special Mention Assessments.  
  • Preparing reserves and cost of credit assessments and forecasts for the individual customers in their portfolio.
  • Monitor the transactional behavior of customers in their portfolio.
  • Participate in periodic portfolio reviews

Specific Skills

  • Ability to analyze corporate financial statements and business plans, across a wide range of industrial sectors and financial products.
  • Experience in restructuring, remediation, and exiting strategies (preferred) 
  • Familiarity with Accounting policies related to TDRs and Non-Accrual status.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Valuation Analysis.
  • Understanding of Loan Legal Documentation.
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas sector will be a plus (but not necessary)

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 3 to 5  years of commercial risk management experience. (Experience in Remedial preferred).
  • Credit Officer Credit Authority. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business is required.
